Scribble Monster Artwork: perfect for early years too
These scribble monsters are the perfect way to turn even the youngest of preschooler’s artwork to life. This project is a total hit when it comes to process art for our youngest creatives. Hand them a bunch of coloured felts, some scrap paper and let the scribbles begin.
You will need:
Felt Pens or Crayons
googly eyes and glue * optional
After the mini creators have made lots of colourful scribbles, they can either draw on some eyes, arms and legs; or have them glue some googly eyes on for added fun.
You could also do this with old artwork that you’ve been saving up from the day your little one(s) first put crayon, paintbrush or pen to paper.
The options are endless with colours, shapes, squiggles, lines, and loops. We played around with silly, mad, confused and happy faces. Could be a good time to talk about emotions with little ones too.
One huge benefit to this invitation to create, is that ANY kid can do this and will achieve a really quirky fun and unique final piece; every time! Making this an excellent confidence builder in children who ‘think’ they can’t draw.
