Here’s a collection of some of my favourite ideas for a fun numeracy corner or table suitable for early years learners, particularly those getting ready to transition to primary school. Most of these activities have a focus on number sense and counting; some have other aspects of maths thrown in too, such as measuring length/distance and time.

DICE AND STONES
Love this simple set up. Invite children to roll a dice then use the plastic forceps to count out the corresponding number of stones.
