BUNNY TAIL EASTER PANCAKES FOR KIDS

BUNNY TAIL EASTER PANCAKES FOR KIDS

We did some simple food art with pancakes this morning. The kids loved this so much. I’ve seen loads of different versions of these bunny pancakes over the last while and couldn’t wait to try them for myself. I used a really simple pancake recipe which made too many for what I needed this morning, but I’ve stored the excess pancake mix in a container and may whip up a few more tomorrow.

BUNNY TAIL PANCAKE

The first version I created this morning was simply 1 large pancake and 2 smaller ones arranged as above and topped with slices of banana, chocolate chips, a slice of kiwi fruit with a dollop of Greek yogurt on top.

Went the extra distance with the next version and added an extra pancake for the head and a pancake cut in half for the ears. Way too much for a 4 year old to eat but we all enjoyed helping her with it.

I added lots of extra fruit and maple syrup to these when I served them to the kids. It really was a feast and so yummy. We have the best gluten free pancake recipe below
